A Crow in Snow

The transition from Fall to Winter has been full and bustling. Every year autumn begins its dance bringing us inward and for me, I found myself connecting deeper with my inner child. I am an introvert and am always more on the introspective side but autumn pulls me in even more. Ever since I can remember being home has been my favorite place. I currently live in a neighborhood and even the noise it produces leaves me seeking quieter spots to hear the wind and the birds.  The animals have all been feeling the change in seasons too, with lots of long naps and plenty of eating. Although we've been home most of the time we did sign up for a few classes and workshops including a botanical watercolor workshop, needle felting class, and a ribbon embroidery class. My older brother came to visit. He kept us very busy with hiking, visiting the Olympic Peninsula, going out in the city, and a trip out to San Juan Island. My brother left at the beginning of January and then it was time for school to begin again. This quarter I'm facing my fears and taking statistics. I'm also taking a figure sculpting class and a water color class.
